Good day friends!
A few months back we filmed a music video for “Eve”. We shot on a horse farm and a huge prop house in Watertown, TN. An amazingly talented team helped create this video, as well as two wonderful actors! Everyone was incredible!
We had a full 14 hour day, it was long but rewarding! Rain tried to keep us from being productive, but we weren’t having it. We ended up with some muddy boots but it made the working scene even more realistic.
After lunch we shot the parlor scene like a true play. Live music and acting all at the same time, which really made the story come to life. At least we hope so! We will soon be releasing the video, but wanted to give you a sneak peek with a few iPhone photos.
Keep an eye out for some new tour dates and new merch! It’s gonna be a good fall.

What is Truth?

There is a question stirring today – “What is Truth?”
For some, Truth is all they have. It is a source of life, hope, and the reason behind every decision they make. For others, truth is nothing more than a notion. A figment that many cling to for security.
We try to find Truth in our surroundings. We try to find Truth in our history. If we are honest with ourselves, do we even know the Truth? Can we know the Truth? This is not about beliefs or opinions. This is about an undeniable Truth that transcends understanding.
You can’t believe in nothing, so where do you stand? Where does Truth come from? Does Truth exist? Are your beliefs Truth? Are your beliefs open to change?

Near blossom

I’m always fascinated by seasons. Not the change of weather, but the change of man’s heart. This well-designed organ finds new rhythms throughout life. It finds different strides to step in.
Mine has just caught up with a new beat. It’s humbled, aware, broken, loving, passionate, compassionate, among many other feelings. I’m honestly still learning this season. The air is different in my chest, which is forcing me to learn how to breathe all over again. Some things are dying, some are growing.
For twenty five years I have been forming inconsistencies, subtle nuances that shape my character. Over the years, I’ve gotten used to my habits. The problem with that is I’ve been avoiding a new season. I’m avoiding the death of my faults.
No longer will I resist against….
I have chosen to let the crippled leaves fall from my branches, and I have chosen to release the bitter cold from my chest. I’m in a new season. It’s sorta like spring.
